A student selects a teacher and buys 1, 10, or 30 lessons or a 30-minute trial lesson. When a student books a lesson, you will receive notification in your email and the WebTeachers messaging system.

There is a built-in messaging system in the WebTeachers platform. Students can send personal messages to teachers. Teachers are able to respond to students that have messaged them or booked a lesson.

When a student is booking a lesson, they will see the teacher’s availability calendar. A student has to select a time and date for the lesson. A notification is sent to the teacher’s email and WebTeachers profile to confirm the date, time and length of the lesson. At the moment the teacher cannot update their availability calendar, but the WebTeachers team is working on this.

Once the lesson has been booked, the teacher and student will receive each other’s Skype usernames. At the scheduled time of the lesson, both have to be online on Skype and prepared for the lesson. WebTeachers advises adding each other on Skype before the start of the lesson.

The teacher will get paid shortly after the lesson is completed. WebTeachers commission fee is 15-20% (depending on the number of lessons a student books).
